Farmed Atlantic salmon have been domesticated for many, many generations and yet still have very large and sharp teeth for a fish that is supposed to only eat pellets. The lights used on these farms attract wild fish into the pens and since the farms are placed where the wild fish congregate these fish farms should be checked for unregulated capture and consumption of wild fish such as herring and juvenile salmon. Many wild fisheries have to have observers on their boats to regulate by-catch, and the same should be applied to fish farms.
